Maryna Lansky was born in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Australia where she lived until shortly after graduating from the School of Law at Sydney University. She is now a long time resident of New York.
She has been admitted to practice since 1977 to the following: New York Bar and the Southern and Eastern District of New York and is a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She worked briefly for a civil rights organization associated with the ACLU and then worked for the Legal Aid Society as a litigator. She has been associated with a NY based animal rights organization and was on the NY Committee of Oxfam for several years. She opened her own office in 1981 and practiced criminal, family and immigration law. Since 1995 she has had a boutique practice exclusively in the field of immigration law, mostly in the O-1, EB-1 and EB-2 areas.
